I see a lot of ‘cis’ women say they wish they were androgynous in the way men were or they wish they were pretty in the way men were. This is your sign to go try to do that. You may find you enjoy being an androgynous woman. You may find you no longer identify as a woman. You may find you don’t like androgyny. You will not know until you try. Cut your hair if you’ve always wanted to but have been afraid to. Shop in the men’s section if you’ve been too nervous to. Wear clothing with an androgynous  silhouette. Experiment with binding, take baby steps with compression bras if you want. Wear unisex scents. Live life. Try things you want to try. A lot of cis women do not understand the joys of mens pants and mens deodorant. I think everyone should try both of those things.

the reason colonisers slaughtered buffalo to near extinction in america is consistent for why israel is bombing, uprooting and burning the olive trees in palestine. over 100 years later and the tactics for control and genocide are the same. tell me again about how america has learnt from it's past and people need to stop talking about it as they fund and support israel by once again making the oppressed out to be ruthless and an evil that needs to be stomped out. the fact that i'm no longer the same age as the protagonists of novels and films i once connected to is so heartbreaking. there was a time when I looked forward to turning their age. i did. and i also outgrew them. i continue to age, but they don't; never will. the immortality of fiction is beautiful, but cruel.
It is really cool to look back on how young they are, though. It puts so much new context on the trials they endured and responsibilities they shouldered. I can appreciate how much they took on willingly and how much was forced onto them so much better now that I realize how young they were - and that feeling grows as I do. :)
