Brokeventure: Harry Potter Hamlet

We want to start a blog series sharing our broke geek adventures, and what better way to start off than with Harry Potter Hamlet?

It’s Shakespeare in the Park season, which is always a nice time of year for broke theater geeks to get their Shakespeare on without paying for a pricey theater ticket, AND to expose the bard to newcomers. The Actors’ Gang in Culver City decided to get a little creative with it...

As you might have heard, Geek and Sundry Vlogs channel is no longer updated, and the awesome, wonderful vloggers now post videos on their personal channels. As the Vlogs channel has meant so much to me and many others, I collaborated with tabletopowlbear to say thanks with a fake movie poster.

This is not the end, but a new beginning. To the future and beyond!

The vloggers mean a lot to us both. The passion, humour & mad skills/advice they dispense on a regular basis is just wonderful. I’ve found skills, rediscovered old ones, tackled challenges and most importantly laughed a hell of a lot. I owe a lot of great new friendships to G&S and all its family.

I’m subscribed to every one of them, look forward to a lot more awesome in the future.

My Favorite PBS Nature Docs on Netflix

Some people binge watch tv shows like Breaking Bad, Orange Is The New Black, Game Of Thrones, or Gilmore Girls, but what I can’t get enough of is nature and animal documentaries. Blue Planet, David Attenborough’s Mammals and Life Of Birds, the various Wildest series, heck I even threw a Planet Earth-themed New Year’s Eve party this year. PBS also has been doing their own brand of animal documentaries for over twenty years. The series is simply titled Nature, but features plenty of awesome animal action.
