heck, unless the journalist is reputable and has a track record of good reporting on trans issues, do not speak with them about DIY HRT. seek out your local organisation if you are approached by a journalist.
I obviously can't verify the screenshot, but the guardian is a toilet, and the guidelines for media engagement posted are worth reading.
It's never worth engaging with an interviewer that has malicious intent. There's no good point you can make that they can't simply redact or spend an infinite amount of time figuring out how to spin in a negative. You've almost certainly seen some right wing interviewers who are so inept at this that they make themselves look bad, but even they're not worth the risk talking to. Their base does not care at best, and it'll help them at worst.

$150/800, Thank you! I went to the eye doctor yesterday which I was told would be free just to check my eyes as I developed a red spot on my eyeball. It's essentially a bruise but because they diagnosed it as something I did end up being charged $50. This and the $60 of meds I had just kind of keep sapping things quickly and I have 13 days of the month left. Anyway, please keep boosting!

A crowdfunding appeal has been launched to help a 29-year-old Black trans woman who lost both her legs after allegedly being thrown onto NYC subway tracks by her boyfriend. A statement from the New York City District Attorney confirms that the victim and her boyfriend were at the Fulton St. station in Brooklyn when the man is said to have seen the oncoming downtown train coming and “thrown” his girlfriend towards the tracks. “The victim was rushed to the hospital, where both of her legs had to be amputated. She also suffered from fractures to her ribs and a blood clot in her lungs,” the statement continues. When the police arrived, they found the woman under the train, reports Into. The woman has since taken part in an interview with trans activist Hope Giselle, and explains that she was on her way to a gender-affirming appointment when she alleges that she and her boyfriend got into an argument and he “threw” her onto the tracks.

This was heavily inspired by the vintage Francie outfit Tenterrific. I tried several times to measure the pleats--but felt like making a pleating template was too much trouble--so I ended up pinching the cloth before ironing, so the pleats are not as even as they could be. It's fine.
I think I’m starting to feel sick from only eating snacks and pastries during my shifts at the shelter. I can’t even afford to buy shit from the convenience store right now.
I get my first full check at the highest paying job I’ve ever had on May 3rd.
Unfortunately all of this money will go to paying rent and paying off my friend who I had borrowed a significant amount of money to pay April’s late rent. I’m finally approaching financial stability after weeks of unemployment and months more of being unable to afford my expenses on my dishwasher’s wage.
I just need some money to afford food and caffeine until May 3rd so if you could throw me $5-20 that’ll help me not feel nutritionally deficient while working.
