about that zayn eating disorder thing

and people are already calling him an attention whore for calling it an ED even though he said it wasn’t a technical ED and news outlets are already straight up calling it an ED for clickbate. the thing a lot of people don’t realize is that EDs are a fluid thing, just all all mental illnesses, so under-eating on purpose (which he said he did btw) could technically classify as an ED. but on the flip side he also states that the reason he doesn’t technically call it that is cause he was never diagnosed by a professional (common of people with mental illness too btw). like, i didn’t have to get diagnosed to know i had depression and anxiety, which is something many people with mental illness can relate to as well. anyways, stop silencing people when they try to speak up about personal mental issues cause it’s hard enough as it is without all the rude speculation.
