Blog for People with Anxiety and Depression on the Autistic Spectrum
Why I’m making this blog: I’ve noticed that many of the suggestions for dealing with anxiety and depression are difficult for me to follow because of asd. For example, because I have a difficult time socializing, I don’t have a large support network to rely on when I feel bad. I don’t have much confidence interacting with the world, which means I have limited ability to go where I want and do what I want. Additionally, hobbies can be difficult for me to enjoy. I enjoy cooking to a degree, but have a textual sensitivity that makes it difficult for me to eat the food I cook.
What I hope this blog can be: I want to make this blog into a sort of support group for people on the spectrum who are dealing with anxiety and depression. I’m hoping that we can all share tips and talk about the problems we’re experiencing so that we can conquer our anxiety and depression.
