Anyway, something I neglected to mention in my post last night is that much of Buffalo’s East Side (where the shooting happened) is a food desert. This Tops was the main grocery store in this particular district (there are mini marts in this particular area but not another big grocery store). And if you don’t have a car, it’s not always easy to get to places in Buffalo even with public transportation so trying to get to the main grocery store in your area can be difficult for some people to begin with - and now it’s probably going to be closed for a bit due to what happened.
If you feel inclined to donate, you can donate to Buffalo Community Fridge. They have a Venmo: bflocommunityfridge. Also, Buffalo Community Fridge has a Target Registry so you can purchase and give items directly. There are three different ‘community fridges’ located throughout Buffalo to help address food insecurity including one on the East Side. It’s a place where people can drop off food and anyone can take food at any time - it’s open 24/7. Here is a link to their website and to their Instagram. Additionally, a local mosque (confirmed- Jami Masjid) is also raising funds for the families of the victims. Here is a link to their fundraiser.

does anyone else remember reading about spontaneous human combustion in a book of weird and unexplained facts and phenomena when you were like, ten years old or something and being convinced for like a week that you were going to suddenly burst into flames out of nowhere and that this was something actually worth worrying about before never thinking about it ever again or was i just fucked in the head as a kid

All I'm gonna say is that for the past year, Onlyfans has been weird about not just content but even compensation of its creators. Rumors have been flying for a while, but with this and the unveiling of a SFW app, I think now is a good time to look for alternatives.

I broke one of my molars FUCK
Its was one that my first dentist, fucked up?? and did a "filling" on it, despite me not needing it, and it ruined the tooth and it's been slowly cracking, and chipping away for years. My current dentist has been doing patch jobs on it for years for me, because I didn't have enough cash to do a root canal on it.
WELL, it just BROKE CLEAN IN HALF
And the nerve ending is DEFINITELY exposed, I'm in agony. It hurts so bad.
So im on my way to my dentist's office right now. I called him and explained and he said he's heading into the office just so he can help me.
Hes going to look at it, and see if he can do a root canal today, and sand down the sharp edges of the break so it doesn't cut my cheek or tongue. And a round of antibiotics!!!
I don't know how much it's going to cost me outta pocket yet.
I have SOME money in my bank account that I can use to make a down payment, and just...give them SOMETHING for the cost of today?? He already told me he doesn't expect me to pay in full today, he just wants something.
