I have said many times that punk rock saved my life but what does that really mean? It’s not like it grabbed my wrist before I plunged over a cliff. Punk rock gave me a place to belong, empowered me to not just think but to do, provided a code to live by, showed me how to support a community which in turn supported me, and most importantly connected me with a lifelong group of friends.
