Tamaa chattered wildly, his wings ferociously beating at the air. Would this be his end!? Would the last anyone would hear of him was how he had gotten his foot stuck in a hole!? (Of course not, but remember, this is Tamaa).
It was very good luck for Tamaa that a certain Rooder had decided to go for a walk and cross his path today. It wasn’t the most daring rescue she’d ever attempted, exactly, but in her humble opinion it would still count. She surely wouldn’t like getting her foot caught in anything while trying to run from trouble.
“Oh, you poor little thing! Don’t keep flapping around like that, I’ll help you!” With a bright smile, the teen ran on over and knelt down, reaching out to the bird to assist him with his trouble. “Don’t be scared, okay? I won’t hurt you.”

“Um.. I been up to a lot myself, eheh. Xianguo made me their new Empress sometime ago after helping them with the undead apocalypse problem and rebuilding the capital city. It’s hectic as anything, especially with unsupportive nobles, but hopefully things will turn out for the better.”
“I won’t be able to do that if I can’t find them. I know I’d definitely rather not have them around me, but at the same time, it’s even more scary wondering what they’re doing when they’re not -- what if they’re, you know, hurting other people or something? Innocent people that just want to-- oh, it really scares me to think about it!”
