welp, she was in again shortly after for pneumonia and long story short, between them not giving her her regular meds, a disaster run with morphine, and a nurse with a heavy touch, they ended up puncturing her bowels and having to do emergency surgery, the results of which were a really traumatic night of emotional upheaval and her having a piece of her organ now sticking out of her stomach, maybe for the rest of her life
four hospitalizations and two major surgeries in a six week span, all due to mishandled treatment and care - 2017 is goin strong
