Dungeon!, the game of fantasy adventure, Larry Kessling box art for 1st and 2nd editions, TSR, 1975. Dungeon! designer David R Megarry was a player in Dave Arneson's original Blackmoor campaign, prior to the 1974 publication of D&D. Megarry demonstrated a playable version of this game by 1972, originally titled The Dungeons of Pasha Cada, which contributed to the early concept of the dungeon as an underworld realm for exploration.
