not even in a sexual way but i’m just craving affection because i feel like crap i just want someone to hug me for a couple of hours and tell me i’m going to be okay
If it snows again, we are making a bonfire and getting rid of this rotten pumpkin, ‘cause the Lake is frozen (I normally toss it in the lake in the middle of the night when no-one can see me, ‘cause it AIN’T getting walked down to the dumpster where it can just disintegrate in front of everybody in the middle of the street!)
(There’s branches and sticks everywhere I’m not strong enough to carry to the dumpster anyway...MIGHT AS WELL BURN “EM IN THE YARD!)
Okay, I really really like him.
When u hold your hand out to a cat and they close their eyes and bump it with their forehead reblog if u agree
I can’t stand driving behind cars like this...it’s like being in a two-car snowball fight! LOL
my current crystal collection, not set up how I want it yet but I just got a ton of new ones and wanted to get them set out!
WOW...I’m in the process of charging mine....the sun hasn’t been out much around out here, but when we get a good day, I put a few on the windowsill!
Goat left about 15 minutes ago...
...he was all apologies...I definitely gave him an earful... but he wants to be friends again...
..Looking for a roommate anyway for when we lose Dad, so I kinda hafta hang on to him (as he does to me...really, who wants to hire an injured 58-yr-old like him???)
Between the two of us, we might be able to keep this little piece of God’s Green Hell together...or at least we can try...
And at heart, I do love him....
Ok..now I dropped the lens-wipe swab I clean my glasses with in the toilet! And I can’t see anything!
Stupid pink clown enemies! Achoo! Vin is on his way over here to apologize and bring me more toilet paper and diet Pepsi!
According to Mitt Romney, “shingy-dong, dingy-dong, shingy-dingy-ding, and we got an got an ice pick goin’ in...if MADONNA married a GIANT...that might be a good idea...no, maybe it wouldn’t...YOUR SISTER ... threw a WET SEA-FISH ... at my TV!”
*loud throat-clearing*

Why do I keep doing dumb things...
...my eyes are already sore from all this dry weather, so what do I do? Put in drops, THEN...Moisturize my hands with this otherwise gentle-but-not-supposed-to-go-in-your-eyes-handcream again! And rub my eyes!
My eyes got all red and painful again, so I doused them in eye-drops for the 20th time in the past three days...’til they got comfortable...AND THEN WHAT DO I DO! RUB ‘EM AGAIN!
A Brief Overview of the Geography of Ancient Greece
Where did the Ancient Hellas Live?
The Ancient Hellas lived in the area surrounding the Aegean sea and the many islands that fall around and near it. On the west was the Balkan Peninsula, the cite of modern day Greece. On the east was the coast of Anatolia, or modern day Turkey. They also lived on Crete and Cyprus, the coasts of North Africa, Southern France, around the Black sea, and in southern Italy and Sicily.
What was the land like?
Chains of mountains kept communities culturally and politically seperate, hence the rise of city-states. They ran primarily from northwest to southeast along the Balkan Peninsula. The land was rough and uneven, and only about 20-30% of the land was actually suitable for agricultural means. Some islands(Western Anatolia and Magna Graecia) and a few mainland regions(Thessaly and Messenia) had large plains that were later used for farming. The soil in Ancient Greece was poor and couldn’t support the growth of wheat, so barley took it place, despite being less palatable and less nutritionally dense. The land, overall, in Ancient Greece was so treacherous, most settlements were within 40 miles from the shore, and the people rarely traveled far from home.
What was the climate like?
The Ancient Greeks had what we call a Mediterranean climate. This means that the winters were plagued with intermittent heavy downpours and the summers were hot and dry. The annual rainfall varied so significantly that farmers worried constantly of drought or flood. The weather was generally unpredictable and they relied heavily on luck when it came to farming.

ACTUALLY many chickens are quite easy to clicker train, as as most are extremely food motivated. I’ve trained Chickadee to hop up onto my hand or arm on command, but haven’t really done much else with her yet, mostly due to a lack of time. Whenever I go out with the chickens I confess my energy is spent on snuggling and watching them be themselves. But they could absolutely be trained!
