I know this is kinda weird, but I would find it very cute to see Bolin comfort a crying Opal, whatever the reason is. Beautiful couple moments aren't always cheerful, sadly. D:

I often think about what might have happened after the fight against Kuviras Army.It must have been such a release for the Beifongs that everything ended. And especially Opal was strong for so long. Sometimes you just have to collapse into tears and it’s great to have someone to hold you.

Metal-bending in of itself was not as easy as Suyin or Korra had made it out to be. Hours and hours and the metal still hadn’t shifted or made a dent. It was just laying there, mocking him while his face turned all various shades of red and purple.In fact, he was so focused on the metal bar that he wasn’t even aware of the damage behind him. And it must have hit him when Korra called out to him in that stern tone of hers.

Immediately, he wiped the offending stain from his face. He was sure that he had gotten rid of it all before he went to look for her. “You weren't supposed to see that--” came his sheepish remark.

“When you touch people for a living you tend to not want touch from others,” she fibbed — well, it was just a partial fib. Aquene had just felt as if he were too close and freaked out a little.
Her response intrigued his interest. “So you touch people for a living?” He asked, voice elevated slightly, expressing his curiosity. “So what is it exactly that you do anyways?”
Aquene winced. SHe must be on edge. It happened sometimes when her mind went back to the past. “Sorry,” she muttered.
A sigh of left his parted lips immediately afterwards. It was already bad enough as it was getting judged for being a part of Kuvira’s army. “No-- no, it’s cool. I get that a lot these days, actually,”
