g1 had the same tension between monsters and humans (Jackson being bullied/ostracized for being a normie, Holt almost getting executed etc)
and the fact it was included up front in Toraleis (as an introductory character) bio (plus Draculaura being an activist being so central to hers) gives me hope that it’ll actually be a significant overarching story point
For people that obsessed with G1 being the superior characterization, they keep forgetting that Toralei is an antagonist at the start that gradually became better and I wouldn’t be surprised if that was her arc here.
Like, this is really starting to annoy me. People are acting like years of character development, however shallow like with Toralei (Let’s be real, it kinda was), should be immediately included in the reboot. That’s not how reboots work. That’s not how character development works. That’s not how any of this works.
Characters don’t start out perfect. They need to grow organically.

Well it took like 17 tries to get premiere to export with audio. But here's a close up of Draculaura and Lagoona. I'll get one of them OUT of the boxes with each item looked at individually like I used to. Now that I know I can edit videos you should be able to get full rotations of each item. I'll also work on colour correction, gamma, contrast, etc for the next.Take care and have fun looking forward to the holiday releases!
Remember, Gamestop carries dolls now as well! Rainbow High, Monster High, LOL, MLP all sorts of them. So don't forget to check their websites and stores around your house!

This is a shelf of dolls in our garage I plan on unboxing on video. I've just been like... Amassing toys. I do this with gachas too.
If anyone remembers what I used to do, I take images of items UP CLOSE for the sake of reference. Want to know if it's worth buying? Reference for fan art? Yeah, for that.

I originally quit collecting when EAH stopped making dolls. Then Rainbow High came out and I refused to buy any for a looong time... Then a couple weird things broke my "I'll never collect dolls again!" claim... Well... Here we are.

I get really lonely sometimes. I tried to download Discord once. I got so confused using it that I cried and deleted it.
December was way too busy this year. Ya'll ever get sick from sayyy a flu, feel better for like 2 days and then get an ear infection, rinse repeat? That was December on top of lots of obligations and responsibilities. That being said? BEST ONE IN YEEAAARS!
Anyway. Going back to my current projects now.
......My husband was gifted a Gundam for Christmas. I used to LOVE putting them (and models in general) together. I'm hoping this becomes a gateway into crafting and art for him. It would be really cool to share this aspect of my life with him.

Do 6 hours of work on a project... Detail work. Get so in the zone you forget to save. Have to close laptop ( this always leaves it the exact way it was before I shut it). I come back an hour later. Same folders open, files selected, browser on the same page. To my horror, the only thing that closed ( I stress that this NEVER happened before ) was the art program.
6 hours lost and a lesson learned. Good grief.
I have hi-res images of all of the tarot. They're the ones most of us likely grew up with and recognize. There are some touch-ups I want to do to them before turning them into cards. They're apparently public domain. I'll try to find a way to share them after I'm done.
I have examples of a lot of classic spirit boards, but I'm going to just make one from scratch.
Agggh. Alright look. I know I'm supposed to be doing that personal Dollhouse project. The problem is there are things I said I would make in the past that I really want to make right now. I'm going to go with inspiration rather than... Not.
I'm starting the 1:6th scale ouija board and Tarot deck today. Loosely goes with the Halloween theme.

so here’s a tiny tutorial about light reflections (i’m no expert though!!)

the one done in september looks much better since i paid attention to them
Also remember that the intensity of the lighting depends on the material on which it is reflected, eg. glass / metal / fabrics etc. Glossy surfaces reflect the lighting more than matte surfaces
another example:

Side note: Pinpointed the proper dosage of insulin as of this week. The diet change wasn't that different from how I eat already, BUT, I eat verrrrry small meals now and Y'aLl.. I am hungry 100% of the time!! I hope my metabolism and stomach adjust. I'm so dang hungry.

Sometimes you guys get into cartoons, games and movies that I've never been a part of. However, the art and/or characters look so neat that I end up reblogging stuff I know 0 about!
