I’ve got a friend who runs a discord RPG/Strategy-Sim in a custom world where players make 3 characters based in a settlment, and I’ve decided my culture is “conan the barbarian pool party” so these are the scantily clad snake-worshipping pirates of Amun-Lamia. The game is based around a world where monster folk have conquered the world and humans are trying to get by. Cyril is a half shark-merman and the high priest of Lamia. He offers guidance and prayers, and performs rituals to the serpent god Lamia to give his people strength. Tanmir is a human and the chief researcher and archeologist of Amun-Lamia. She researches lost ruins in hopes of finding secrets of the past, when the serpent Lamia empowered humans to fight against and conquer the monstrous races of the world. Amun-Lamia seeks to re-arm humanity with ancient power. Captain Ashway is 1/4 slime on her mothers side (her hair is actually jelly). She is a pirate who makes her home in Amun-Lamia and her ship, The Splashzone, transports the adventuring and raiding parties of the village out into the world.
