My daughter was murdered. We need help.

I WISH this was a joke, i really do.

Tagging relevant fandoms of which i was a part or strongly relates to my husband.

My daughter was murdered in front of me by a former housemate, we need aid. Even enough to cover a little rent, a portion of the nightmarish electricity bill he racked up with turntables and utility bills he left unpaid. The grief was too much for our other housemates.

She was a beautiful taí'no baby, an indigenous girl killed by a white man trying to drive us out of our home through grief. He admit it. A little girl of color stripped from this world before her second month on this land. She was our tsi'toh. Our baby fox. She's gone, and he took everything he could with her. We are broken in ways that nothing can mend. It's destroyed us financially covering his rent, what utilities and rent we can/had to pay from the gaps between finding new housemates, the bills we shoulder as individuals, rekeying the house, fixing the door he broke down, and because of all that scraping together enough for food.

We're hoping my husband's unemployment from California finally goes through, though even that can't cover all the damage left in the wake of such tragedy.
