Well, if you are referring to the Flanders, then yes, our Dutch is generally somewhat altered from Dutch spoken in The Netherlands! :)

Niet persé. Ook al wordt bij ons altijd Frans of Nederlands aangeleerd in school. Of dat wordt er toch geprobeerd. Je kan natuurlijk ook meer talen leren. De meesten van ons zullen wel een tweede taal kunnen spreken, ook al is dit maar een klein beetje. Maar er zullen altijd wel mensen zijn die dit totaal niet nodig vinden, of dit niet nodig hebben in hun job.

The cheapest food you can get, will probably have to be from McDonalds. We are sadly not a cheap country. In McDonalds, you can get things such as “Eurodeals”, which only cost an euro, but are still filling enough, or so I’ve heard at least. The only store I know off who does these “almost expired” sales is the store Delhaize. You might find cheap food in “Action” and “Techno” too.

Kind of lame in my personal opinion haha. I’m sure there are some people that like it, but most people I know literally do not care about it at all. There’s some radio stations that occupy themselves with it, but that’s it really.. Sadly, because I find it a lovely thing each year again.

Although this year, we are all rather proud of our Laura Tesoro being send out! Even the people who aren’t too interested in ESC. Because Laura Tesoro is quite popular and loved. A true national treasure she is!

Gosh well, there are a lot of ways to interpret this, but uhm, I think you mean like singer-y kind of artist? Well, Stromae obviously :’). Other than that, Tourist Lemc’s songs are quite nice to me too. Bonus that they are in Antwerp’s dialect! #AntwerpFTW
