I just really love how the Internet has turned being assertive and not taking peoples crap into "being a bitch" but its also misogynistic, chauvinistic and demeaning toward woman in general which is a problem with the person making the comment and not a problem that has anything to do with me. Rather, a more accurate use of the term "bitch" would be someone who feels the need to call someone else names via anonymous on the Internet.. juuuuust pointing out the irony.

Well this is certainly random lol, but the perfect sterling example of the anon that i just answered before this :). 

Fair question. If you read my blog than you know my main reason, time. Rude anons really don't bother or upset me, but when I get them I do take the time to answer them thoroughly because i do kind of enjoy calling people out on their ridiculousness. I figure if they choose to approach me with it they deserve to be schooled… but the downside is that its not a productive use of my time. I have a lot of personal goals this upcoming year that I really need to cut down on anything that isn't a productive use of my time, which includes netflix marathons, reading books I have already read (I want to read a list of very educational books this upcoming year) and even taking the time i take to respond to moronic anons.

Second reason is just practical. There is no logical reason anyone even needs to ask me anything via anon in the first place. There are plenty of ways to contact me, I am sill leaving my ask open on my (new) tumblr, just not on anon. People can also contact me via twitter, Facebook, wordpress, instagram, wattpad or even email, so if they have a legitimate question or they want to talk they have no excuse whatsoever to need to contact me without their identity in tact. Lets face it, anyone that has ever left me an anon has at least one of their own social networking sites, so the excuse of "oh I don't have a tumblr" is BS; even if they didn't, they have something else they could use. Any anon I ever get other than asking about my fic is intentionally snarky, unless its someone trying to defend me or show me some support because of a snarky anon. For example, someone last week literally tried to attack me via anon by saying I lied about taking a psych class simply because I didn't continue to tweet about it after I mentioned I signed up for it, then refused to contact me off anon after I told them I would tell them how the class went if they just came off anon, a request that wouldn't have bothered them in the least bit or been a problem for them if they weren't being ridiculous on purpose, and stalking me so intently that they took note of when I mentioned i was taking a class and deliberately watched my twitter to see if I kept mentioning it, which is creepy, unhealthy, and kind of disturbing. Like I said in my blog, I can't stop these creepy people from stalking me to that extent, but I don't need to also allow these weirdos to remind me of their stalkage. If I am going to be given celebrity status by being stalked like one, I also want the privilege celebrities have of being oblivious to the stalkage. I feel like thats a fair compromise on my part; stalk me all you want, fictionalize me, shit talk me with your pals to your hearts content but I should be able to live my life among people that know and love me oblivious to people like that and how inexplicably obsessed they are with me. 

Like I said, I am not taking away anyones ability to contact me, just one avenue of contact which is completely unnecessary in the first place. And yes that even applies to you, because you could have asked me this off anon as well :).

How wonderful that you watched my video, but this was an unneeded comment. I am well aware of what is healthy for cats and what is not. I was just messing around with my kittens in my video, its called humor. No need to take everything so literal. My cats are on a healthy diet, they eat what is good for them and do not eat things that are not and I did not need a lesson on cats from an anonymous person over the internet seeing as I have owned cats and taken care of them since I was ten, and currently volunteer at a rescue which is obviously educated on the care and health of felines as well and would expect any and all volunteer workers to do what is in the cats best interests while caring for them. Just because the majority of people on the Internet are ill-educated does not mean that i am, please do not waste my time and your own by assuming otherwise, thanks.

It is not something i will regret, at all. That lyric hit me on an emotional level the first time i heard it, but even moreso after the tumultuous year i have had and what i survived. It reminds me that i fought for my life during a very bad depression when i wanted to give up instead. That isnt the kind of thing you regret, ever. It makes no difference at all what the lyric means to ed, its about what the lyric means to Me.
