Sirens, they rang in her ears, following her as she made her way through the city, her gaze on the floor, hood over her head as she made her way into a local bar. She had only just sat down, pulled her hood down and made herself comfortable when the police entered behind her, obviously scouring the room for a woman of her description. Panic flooded through her body, and her first reaction was to run. She stood up from her chair, turning towards the door, when she realised that there was already an officer standing there, and he would no doubt stop her if she tried to leave.
She was running out of ideas, and the chances of her getting out of this tight situation are slim. Not only that, but the man going around, asking questions, is getting closer to her side of the bar. She moved as far away as she possibly could, standing beside another woman. “I am so, so sorry about this, but I’m not about to get arrested today.” With the police officer by the door blocking her escape, and the second officer quickly nearing her, she had to make herself look busy. She placed herself in front of the stranger, resting her hands on her cheeks and hurriedly kissing her, hoping it would be enough to keep the officer away.
