So I bumped into Chaz (Toro Y Moi) tonight since his band mates have another band they play in called Kid Trails. They opened up, and I talked to Chaz a bit and told him about my solo show. He told me he’s moving to Portland, and told me to hit him up if I ever make it out there so that we can work on a zine together. I also noticed he had a pin of his dog, and he let me keep it and said that he had a thousand of them at home. It makes me really happy when musicians remember me like that.

This is actually the first time I ever asked for a musicians contact info though (I asked him for his contact and if it was ok and he was cool with it). I’ll do my best to make it out there. Consistency definitely played a huge roll in making that all happen. What a great night.
