Had nobody thought how brokenhearted Izzy was for such a long time, scaring all potential partners daily, cuz yes Blackbeard is famous and sexy, and there is this twat he can't scare away anymore and his Blackbeard is melting away through his fingers like candle vax.

As we allow Ed to be angry, we have to allow Izzy to be angry.

ofmd is like not comedy as in sitcom but comedy as in shakespearean where it’s psychological trauma and conflicts of violence but with dick jokes and the promise of marriage in the end

When Izzy first walked out I was worried that he would be made into a joke that the crew would laugh at

but then he started singing and the dancing began and I realized that he wasn’t meant to be a joke at all. This is the most open and happy we’ve ever seen Izzy and the show treated it that way. Not mocking him but instead celebrating this moment.

When we talk about queer representation it’s usually just focused on queer relationships, but what I love about this episode is it shows other sides of being queer. That moment where Izzy saw Wee John doing his makeup and had a realization that he wanted that too? That is what being queer means to me. The crew singing along and cheering for him? That is what being apart of the queer community means to me.

What i love about this show is that it shows queer joy, not in a sanitized way, but in away that is messy, beautiful, and without any mockery or shame.

I really can't get over the fact that izzy's arc in the first half of s2 is just him getting socialized like a feral kitten. He's hissing and biting and the crew is just like "yeah time to roll him up in the towel again."

It was really cool!! Some of the paintings actually moved, and there was a section where we were given VR headsets and got to experience the doll room scene with Garry and the key which was very neat!! Also Garry’s acrylic stand at the gift shop was totally sold out LOL
