They are literally ignoring iconic female roles just to pretend that women didn’t start doing shit until around the time that these gender thinkers started using the internet.

Ripley is a fucking legend in space horror and sci fi. But no let’s act like she never existed and Wonder Woman is the first female lead to do anything and everything.

It’s not even limited to “first female lead”. It’s apparently the first time in cinematic history that a woman has been fully realized as capable of heroism and humanity.

They just want to feel like they’ve accomplished something with their “activism”.
