I love the premise of The Mummy being that Imhotep wants to bring back the love of his life from 3k years ago, but then you get to The Mummy Returns, and the moment Imhotep is like “I’m about to die please save me,” Anck-su-Namun is like YEET I GOTTA GO BYE RING ME UP IN THE NEXT AFTERLIFE BITCH.
“I love you” is overrated.
