alright here’s my final let’s draw sherlock entry-!! i’m from canada, so i decided to give the ‘holmes in your own culture’ thing a try. john and sherlock visit the mountains in british columbia (for a case or somethin idk) and it’s a little bit cold, so they don’t quite fit in right away… at least john thought to dress warm.

I couldn’t make it in time for letsdrawsherlock December Challenge. Still, I would like to share it. Domestic Christmas Sherlock. And Conductor-Of-Light-John.

Based on the ..first LDS challenge? John walked out after a while and Sherlock didn’t notice :P

Goodbye LDS. I’ll miss you :’(

The Let’s Draw Sherlock challenge that was one of my favorites from a year ago: The Musical Art Challenge.

This was inspired by David Bowie’s incredible song, “Heroes”, and always reminds me of Mary, John, and Sherlock and the fantastic series. Although I’m saddened that Let’s Draw has ended, and regret not being able to participate with the challenges as much as I’d like to, I’m so incredibly thankful for the gift that all the mods have given to all of us, and for the dedication they’ve collectively shown to this fandom since the challenges began time and time again.

Lets Draw Sherlock - Sherlock Characters Participating in Lets Draw Sherlock! Alternative Professions

Upon seeing some “helpful criticism” on his blog, Sherlock turns to botany in hopes of one day having  a garden for his bees. Unfortunately, things don’t really go as planned and he fails. What is he to do? This is terribly, awfully late but seeing as how this might be the very last of the Lets Draw Sherlock challenges, I wanted to give it my all and finish it. I’ve done every single challenge from the start of it all and it’s been one wild and creative ride from start to finish, one I’ve grown immensely from as an artist. This group introduced me to so many brilliant people, and essentially helped me establish an artist presence I never dreamed I’d have. I’m forever thankful to Lets Draw Sherlock for encouraging me to keep working, and to make what I love, even when things may be difficult. Thank you so much for the adventure! I hope we all meet again soon. Season four perhaps? :’) Cheers! (For those who may be concerned, there’s a bonus bit to this that I’ll draw once I have some sleep. There’s a happy ending for Sherlock after all!)

i’m sure we all remember sherlock’s take on the reinterpreting famous works challenge, but unfortunately for him, “photo manips should alter at least 50% of the original image to qualify (meaning you can’t just paste a face onto a photo)" even if that face does belong to the magnificent john watson

Last Lets Draw Sherlock Challenge: Charas failing at LDS

I wish I could have done smth more elaborate as the final LDS-work (I even cheated on the BG a bit *shhh*), but I just didn’t have the time…Y_Y I chose the domestic-challenge because due to Xmas I couldn’t participate that month. But I guess the food-challenge could technically count for this one aswell XD

I’m so sad LDS is ending, but I do very much understand the reasoning behind it. I hope it will see some revival once the special and S4 have aired, but I would also understand if this is it once and for all. I’m very grateful for the hard work all of the team put into it and for giving unknown artists like me a platform to challenge themselves and present their work to a wider audience♥ Thanks! ————————— My art-tag with all LDS-entries♥

For the final Let’s Draw Sherlock challenge. I was stuck on what to do for a long time…and in the end, I decided to do the theme that started it all.  (My first LDS submission is my first art post in tumblr, so yeah.)

Special thanks to the admins of letsdrawsherlock for all their hard work! All parties must end eventually, but the game will still go on.
