Xion, my mama kitty, had to be brought into the pet-ICU last night, and I found out a few hours later that her struggling to breathe was likely caused by a congenital heart disease, one that could prove fatal in weeks to months if I’m lucky– as opposed to hours or days if I’m not– if it goes untreated. Unfortunately, the cost of getting the echocardiogram to diagnose her, combined with the cost to hospitalize her while she’s initially treated, is very expensive, and I cannot afford it on my own. I’ve reached out to friends and family, but I’m at the point of desperation where I’m going to reach out on here as well.
My cat is sick, and it would break my heart to lose her. She is my baby, and she is a good girl. She deserves more than just five years, and the vet said that with the proper treatment, she could live a long life. So please, if you can help, I’m begging you to please help. My baby needs it, I need it and my others cats need her too. She’s part of this furry family.*)
