give me a plot where - ‘hey we used to be the loves of each others lives until one of us fucked up and the other got mad. eventually i left a voicemail apologising, but you never got it? then you were an asshole to me because you thought i never apologised so i’m an asshole back because i can’t understand why you can’t even be civil when i apologised. we still have mutual friends so we still see each other at events. but it’s always hostile, because i don’t know that you never got the voicemail and you don’t know that i left one. will we ever resolve this? i’m still in love with you but i wouldn’t dare say it because i’m convinced you hate me.’
