hey! weird question, is the "heyla" in your description a reference to the velgarth/valdemar novels by mercedes lackey?

Uh, yes!!! The valdemar books are very important to me, I keep them close to my heart and also heyla sounds friendlier than just hi or hey. Its been like five years since I started saying it, I don't think I could stop if I tried....

I wonder how feminists will react to this

Probably ignore it then go back to making male tears mugs and gifs

Actually this is a very common idea among feminists

It’s something feminists have been talking about for years it’s called toxic masculinity and it’s one of the common threads among the topic of ‘Patriarchy hurts men too’. If fact the first time I read about toxic masculinity was on a feminist blog.

If you actually read things feminists talk about instead of straw manning them you might know this but OH WELL

Very Important.  A good argument FOR Feminism and it goes right over people’s heads.

Bros are like “Ha! checkmate feminists!! What now?!”

While Feminists are like “….? Yeah, no, patriarchy and male privilege and toxic masculinity, exactly, yes. Why do you only listen when it’s a man saying these things? We’ve been saying this for years?”

people who think lesbians are more accepted in society than gay men are idiots

lesbians are more sexualized. they’re seen as a hot thing for straight men to watch but only if both girls are conventionally attractive. otherwise, it’s seen as disgusting or unnatural. that is not acceptance. that is fetishization.

Just Google ‘Lesbians’ on Google images and it’s men taking the piss out of anyone who is not skinny and femme.

"All anime is the same"

Let me explain you a thing

A short-haired brunette individual manages to achieve a prestigious position due primarily to hard work and determination. Once there, an unexpected other side to them is discovered that leads them to hardships and conflicts between their two “selves”, but they also manage to put both aspects to use. They are joined by a cast that includes, among others, a strong silent protective dark haired character and a short blonde who looks younger than his age and who seems innocent and naive but who holds secret reserves of ferocity. The main character frequently feels out of place and at odds with the cast, but the cast tends to consistently support them.

And then the titans kick a hole through the school wall and eat Tamaki.
