The Last Kingdom has just been commissioned for a second series! Rejoice Danes and Saxons! The journey is far from over!
I still have my problems with it, but I admit by the end I was a little more invested. I really liked Hild (though I could’ve done without the way they introduced her.) Also glad they’re finally returning to the question of what happened to his sister.
Still, I’m hoping they work on developing the female characters better. At the moment, it seems like they’re just an ever-changing series of accessories on his arm. Bleh.
