RBB 2.0: DustyDaCat

Many of you have already read some things about the twitter account DustyDaCat and/or are following it.

For all of you who still need some information, I’m posting here everything I know so far about that account.

Is DustyDaCat RBB 2.0?

Actually, it’s the other way around: DustyDaCat was created in December 2010. The account tweeted about his relationship with @Ted_Tommo, Louis’ dog. So, obviously, Larries (me included) believe that it was created by Harry to express his love for Louis.

DustyDaCat also has a YouTube channel, where it uploaded 3 videos, one of them being “Ted Tomlinson I love you”:

On YouTube, it liked 4 videos, of which 3 are related to One Direction - and the 4th one has the picture of a rainbow as a thumbnail:

Unfortunately, I wasn’t in the fandom since the beginning and I don’t know for how long Harry used the account. When I found it, there were tweets only from December 2010 and January 2011. Meanwhile, they were all deleted.

But I found tweets from Ted to Dusty - they are part of conversations and go until October 2011. And a few of them followed in 2012 and 2013. After that - silence.

As we all know, the RBB account was deactivated on February 12th, 2016. But one exposing account tweeted:

To be honest, I thought they would reactivate, but maybe with a profile picture like this? :D

Never in a million years would I have thought that DustyDaCat was going to come back!

But he came. As we were all counting the retweets of the AIMH tweet, Dusty started a countdown. When the countdown reached what would be 0, the AIMH tweet was retweeted.

All the old tweets were deleted (and I never made screenshots, I thought they would be there forever). Since the AIMH retweet, there were some more tweets (you will find them all in screenshots on tumblr), but they are being deleted. So make screenshots!

Here are the only older ones I could find until now in the internet:

Right now, there is a countdown going on (Roman numerals, today the number was VI - 6). It will end on February 22nd, 2016. The date that marks the 5th anniversary of Larry’s first date. :)

An exposing account (can’t remember which and I can’t find the tweet) also posted this:

It was the video where we saw Harry’s password - believed by the most to be 2202, so February 22nd (although I must say it seems more like 2020 to me). 

Is it really Harry?

I can’t be 100% sure that it’s Harry (than again, I don’t even trust his verified account 100%, because his management also has access). But the person running that account must be at least very close to the boys. Because of this:

Why would Jay and Anne tweet to/about an account made by a fan/troll? Knowing exactly that this would be interpreted as Larry support or something?

Important learning:

I’m more convinced than ever that Harry and Louis were behind RBB. It wouldn’t have been the first time they used this type of account to communicate with us.
