this is going to sound like the most boomer take ever but I genuinely think increasing reliance on technology for entertainment in youth is draining creativity. it's that instant gratification which allows you to shut your brain off for a while. these kids aren't having to resort to their own creativity when bored. there's always a solution to "bored" now. omg. this is not a "technology bad" post. if anything capitalism and consumerism are to blame - both for parents not having time outside work to raise their kids and for advertising towards children being increasingly more common.

I bought a state-specific wildflower seed mix that I sprinkled in my garden this year and the sprouts are everywhere. I am extremely excited to get my milkweed in there too; sprouts have onlt just started emerging for it.
