He HATED the storm season. The entire thing kept him on edge almost constantly, looking out for a storm that would roll in quickly, dreading when one might show up when he was at school or practice and couldn’t escape, couldn’t hide until it was over in an attempt to avoid the FEAR that gripped him. But sometimes he didn’t pay enough attention, and they managed to appear quicker than he could notice.
Like when he spent TOO MUCH TIME at Satori’s, falling into an easy comfort with the older boy that left him relaxed and unfocused, letting himself stop WORRYING and thinking constantly and just enjoy it.
But, of course, that enjoyment is CUT SHORT at the first loud crack of thunder, causing the game controller to drop from his hands when he jerks in surprise, looking quickly to the window with a grimace. ❛ Excuse me-- ❜ a mumbled excuse as he pushes himself to his feet, moving QUICKLY out of sight to the bathroom, door shutting softly behind him. As soon as he’s alone he clutches at the counter, sucking in a DEEP BREATH as he tries to focus, anything to calm himself, to keep himself from falling into full blown panic in front of one of his senpais. Another boom and he slaps his hands over his ears, eyes clenching shut as he sucks in a breath through his teeth, jaw clenched.
