Dabbling in some fursuit work. It’s fun making my own characters rather than work off of pre-existing ones.
Finished up my raptor partial like a year ago lol. Here’s some pics at a con I went to. Hope someday I’ll finish it as a full suit!
Started working on a new cosplay! Going back to my Transformers roots :D

Wow, been a while since I posted. But hey, I'm still working on costume stuff! Been working on this raptor, still very much a WIP but it's been a fun project. These scales are going to be the end of me though. Resin cast was made by http://kierstinlapatka.tumblr.com for those who are curious
Are you still active on this blog?
Not really no, sorry. College takes up most of my time these days. Cosplay and photography has had to take a backseat sadly.
Did you use real screws in your brobot cosplay? How did you attatch them?
Yup, real screws. They are attached by actually screwing them into the craft foam. They stay pretty well.
Hi! I was wondering if you'll be at NYCC this year? And if so, will you be doing any photography?
Unlikely but maybe to both questions. I've got school to think about and a trip to NYCC might not be the best idea.
shanetids as Lawyer!Terezi at CTcon 2014. Cool person!
Where are all of these new followers coming from? I'm surprised you guys are following me considering the lack of recent posts D: (which by the way I'll be putting out some new pictures soon) But really, where?
Hello, how did you make the hair for your Auto Responder cosplay? Are there any advices you could give someone who's desperately trying to "build" something like that?
This is the original tutorial for the hair. Some additional comments since I recently remade the hair: trying to make craft foam mimic hair is difficult. Keep an eye on the flow of the pieces to make it look as natural as possible. Glue as little as you can get away with. It makes it easier to fix mistakes. You'll probably have to pull up at least a few "hair" pieces. Pricing: $4-6 craft foam, $6 spray paint, cheaper than a wig and lasts longer, but time consuming to make. It took me about 4-5 hours straight. Best of luck! (one of these days I'll make a picture tutorial…)
Hey there! I completely redid my Brobot outfit a few months ago, but never ended up posting photos of it, so here it is! My great friend Matt took these awesome photos for me (but he has no public profile thing for me to properly credit him with :C) but he's great!
Just wondering, -sorry if you've gotten this before- how did you make the katana for your brobot cosplay? I'm working on one myself and I'm not sure how I should make the katana blade.
The katana is actually a boken, wooden sword, that I spray painted. I'll probably make one from scratch at some point, but I'm not the best person to ask.
Where did you get your craft foam? I've never used it before and I'm quite curious. The way you used it on your Brobot cosplay looks amazing, and I'm curious about using it for the wings on my Davesprite cosplay.
I get craft foam from whatever craft store is closest to me at the time. Micheals, AC Moore, and other craft stores usually have craft foam. It's a pretty popular material for kid's crafts. I've actually been making craft foam wings and it's worked pretty well for me so far, so it's definitely an option for you.
Are you going to AB this year?
Yes! I'll be there! If you're looking for photos though, I might disappoint. I've lost some of the joy that used to come to me when I photographed cosplayers, so I won't be taking as many pictures this year. It's just not as fun anymore.
