OutOfLoyalty

Imagining pregnant Sigyn waking Loki up in the middle of the night to go to the kitchen and get her pastries with strawberries. Loki grumbles something but she’s pouting so he gets up, all bed head and sleep and he has to wake up the one cook still there, and wait for them to make the ‘damned dessert’. An hour later he trudges back to their chambers and Sigyn’s asleep, having gotten to tired to wait.

[ Que Loki angrily, bitterly eating deserts to HIMSELF as if thats a good revenge and will totally show her. ]

Instead of being able to relax the longer the god went without attempting to kill anything, Steve found himself tensing. He wasn’t sure what it was the Asgardian was getting at and had a feeling he probably didn’t like it. “And what do you think would have happened if you killed that one?” The soldier asked with a scoff. Not that he could have allowed Loki to kill the old man in Germany who stood up. “All it takes is one guy standing to make everyone else rethink things and killing him only makes them rise up faster.”

He shook his head; that was a conversation he didn’t need to be having with the would-be dictator, even if it was something he was more comfortable discussing than what set him apart from other guys. “Not that it did much good,” he admitted flatly, “You’re right; I’m not exactly like everyone else. It’s a long story and I don’t exactly feel like sharing with a guy who was trying to kill me.”

Loki gave the hint of a shrug, obvious he hadn't much care to give to such a situation either way but he spoke honestly and entirely casually despite his cold words."I had hoped that he would become an example- that his death would teach them that I would have no mercy for those who would dare defy me."  He quickly scoffed himself to the Soldiers follow-up, the smirk he wore so well spreading wide across his face. "That’s where you and I disagree. You see, I saw something quite different as all it took was one man’s death to scatter the rest of them in a mad flurry like frightened animals."  The trickster was more curious now than ever and didn't seem to want to take a no as answer "I was not trying to kill you; I was trying to rule you! All aberration aside, If I wanted you dead you would be -and I do so love stories."
