Naruto family headcannons where everyone is alive and happy and NO I”M NOT CRYING YOU’RE CRYING

  • Minato reads all the baby books, parenting books, whatever books, sometimes even books not quite related to parenting but apparently important to him anway. Kushina just sort of humors him when he shares things but is for the most part like “I’m gonna wing it” and Minato just sort of despairs everytime he hears that
  • Both of them panicking a little every time Naruto cries during the night the first few days because maybe they’re just a little paranoid 
  • (and the one time they don’t because he’s probably just hungry but turns out they should have and from then on in Naruto sleeps with them)
  • Kushina is the one who spoils Naruto with all sorts of toys and stuffed animals. If Naruto so much as glances at something while they’re at the store she gets it and Minato is jus tlike “Kushina–Kushina don’t you think we have enough, Kushina no, he had already has five of those, KUSHINA WERE RUNNING OUT OF ROOM–”
  • Whenever Naruto falls asleep in his arms Minato just goes all mushy and weepy like look this is my precious baby boop and he’s sleeping in my arms oh my god
  • Kakashi doesn’t get it, Rin thinks its sweet, Obito cries with him half the time, and Kushina just gets it all in photos (not at all for blackmail purposes what)
  • Kushina panicking and worrying every once and a while that she’s not/won’t be a good mother because she doesn’t know anything about kids and Minato feeling the same and then the two of them just sort of laughing at each other once they stop acting like chickens with their heads cut off
  • Kakashi and Obito being left to babysit Naruto every once and a while and its either easy or hell on earth with both of them panicking to Rin and no inbetween
  • Kushina taking Naruto to the doctor if he so much as sniffles because GODDAMMIT UZUMAKIS DO NOT GET SICK HE HAS TO BE DyING
  • SLEEPOVERS IN WHICH MINATO, KUSHINA, KAKASHI, OBITO, RIN AND NARUTO ALL CRAM INTO MINATO AND KUSHINA’S BED WHEN NARUTO HAS NIGHTMARES BECAUSE HE CAN’T SLEEP UNLESS ALL OF THEM ARE THERE

What it’s like to be on team 8.

From this great post. I really wanted to have Kiba and Shino bust out of the building looking like they robbed the place, but actually are just carrying tampons and Hinata’s favourite cinnamon buns.
