Just wanted to post something and let you all know I haven't disappeared. There was a tragedy in my best friends family so I've been with her. I'll be around and trying to get replies done soon.

"Only if you’ve slept, love."

He laughed softly, “True.”

"I tend to find little sleep and lots of bourbon make quite the interesting concoction." He grinned.

"Interesting is certainly the right word."

"Interesting. Entertaining. Potentially dangerous at times..."

Honestly, as far as Magnus was concerned there was little worse than waking in the middle of the night because of a damn fire alarm. It’d already been a long day, and he’d been having a really good dream when all of a sudden the building’s fire alarm went off and he rolled out of bed—literally. Landing on his bedroom floor with a thud, the young man scrubbed a hand over his face and stood. Procedure was to exit the apartment and head down to the lobby when something like this happened, and it was late so Mags didn’t exactly have his faculties about him as he ambled through his door—clad only in his loose black pajama bottoms. No shoes, no shirt, and a very tired look in his eyes.

Walking down the stairs, Magnus yawned quietly—he was mildly annoyed, truthfully. He had to be awake in four hours and just barely managed to fall asleep. Though, there was also something decidedly interesting about seeing the other people who lived in the building—most of whom were little more than casual acquaintances—in whatever state they might be in. Blowing out a slow breath, Magnus leaned against a wall, arms crossed over his chest as his eyes flickered about the lobby. People watching at its finest.

Honestly Klaus could have cared less about the fire alarm. Well, aside from it waking him up, but he'd learned long ago that if you wanted to play human then you had to play all the time. No ignoring fire alarms and narrowly escaping the burning building by vampire speed. That hadn't gone over so well last time. With a heavy sigh and dressed in last night's clothes like some horrible walk of shame, he sauntered last into the lobby. "Bloody fire alarms..." he muttered to himself, grumpy. Any time now would be great to find out this was a drill or false alarm. Then he saw him. Well, hello pretty...
