I’m in the process of rebooting my Chrom. And by that I mean I’m restarting him on a new blog, because I don’t feel as comfortable in this side of the fandom as I used to and I hope a new blog will help fix that. All threads will be dropped, and all relationships, except the ones I have with close friends, will be dropped as well. I won’t link to the new Chrom blog yet since it isn’t ready, but I will say that you can find me on my Marx blog here, or my Leon blog here, since more of you are looking for Fates blogs since the game’s release.

    Melia’s voice is deathly quiet, for fear; fear of what, she barely knew, but she could liken it a fear of the fallout, when the other found she did not quite give what they needed. Some small part of her says she should be perhaps, in some way, used to that idea – it shouldn’t scare her at this point, but still fear comes as it so pleases. 

    Long, calloused fingers fold around each other, trying to work the nervousness out of her through distraction; let her have enough time to think ( to process and to understand, just exactly why she should even bother with this one. 

                “Th-that is to say, no, I do not really, ah,                   know my way around; you might say I                   am about as clueless as a newborn bird.”

  At first, the other’s words were spoken so softly that Chrom wasn’t sure he had heard them at all. Had he scared her? It certainly seemed that way, with her apparent anxiousness at having heard his question. But why would she react that way? As far as the Exalt knew, he wasn’t exactly an intimidating man off the field of battle.

  “Oh,” he said, suddenly feeling rather awkward. He knew that that he should be getting on his way and continue searching for the location of Robin’s match, but he couldn’t just leave.. If something was wrong with this girl, Chrom wanted to help her if he could-- that was his job both as a Shepherd and as Exalt of Ylisse, even if those titles meant nothing here.

  “...Are you all right? I didn’t mean to frighten you.”

chrom, happy birthday ! you’re one of the first friends i’ve made in the fe community, and even after such a long time i’m glad that we still are ! you’re kind, supportive, and are essentially the chrom to my lucina ( pretty much literally and figuratively ); you’re just, great, i don’t know how else to describe. you’re just in general there when i need you, along with the rest of our little family over on skype, and talking with you genuinely makes me very happy and in general, glad to be around you and be alive. not to mention, that you are a great writer who clearly puts effort into all of your muses, and seriously, it’s a joy to see you even when i’ve been off of my other blogs for so long. in short, i hope you have a very good day ( …at least i hope it’s day where you are it’s like. 11:50, here. ), and so forth ! once again, happy birthday, chrom !
