This has had me cracking up randomly since stumbling upon it this past weekend.

Tired of being tired.

Being a teacher is not all it's cracked up to be. Today was a terrible reminder that I will not be in the classroom for long. Perhaps this 2nd year is my last year. 😕 I need to figure it out. How best to serve the youth and empower them. & I feel like it ain't in the classroom. Too many oppresive things to unlearn, too much learned helplessness, too little support, and too little patience. I ain't lacking passion, but in 2016 when it remains open season on our BOYS and GIRLS I ain't with the playing shxt. We must teach our youth to show up to opportunity and necessary spaces with the tools to navigate them. But this building administration don't hear me though. Ugh. Gotta figure it out.
