Headphones help?

I want to go running. I want to catch up on Zombies Run.

But the replacement headphones I bought were a) crap sound quality b) the wire was glued so high up I could barely get them on my head c) when I  gritted my teeth and decided they’d do while I took my time finding a different pair two weeks later the headband snapped. Piece of overpriced crap.

Goddamn you Sony this is all your fault, bring back the MDR- W08L. There’s even a facebook campaign for them *sob*.

Anyway I am asking for suggestions on models people are happy with. They need to be over the head and fairly robust as they get shoved in my bag a lot, yanked about by kids, etc. I cannot do pure in ear buds as they don’t stay in my left ear, and I can’t do the ones that wrap round the back of your ears as there’s a nub of bone or something behind one ear  they press on which gives me a headache.

I’m not that fussed on sound quality above a certain level as it’s just on my iPhone.

“ A Victorian cathedral of ironwork - A masterpiece of engineering ”

The Crossness Pumping Station is a former sewage pumping station designed by the Metropolitan Board of Works’s Chief Engineer Sir Joseph Bazalgette and architect Charles Henry Driver at the eastern end of the Southern Outfall Sewer in the London Borough of Bexley. Constructed between 1859 and 1865, as part of Bazalgette’s redevelopment of the London sewerage system, it features spectacular ornamental cast ironwork, that Nikolaus Pevsner described as "a masterpiece of engineering – a Victorian cathedral of ironwork”.  Wikipedia
