another sneakity peekity from my latest book, which I’m turning in soon. It’s about Julia Child and has been the absolute bright spot of a very rough summer 2020. Especially because I luv drawing food! So grateful for my job and the opportunity. #childrensbooks https://www.instagram.com/p/CFBKWCQjgFA/?igshid=vvwrc880fggc
I rly like drawing food ! Which is good, considering this is from my next project: a book on Julia Child! It still feels weird to be talking about work so I’ll keep it at that 🧡 #illustration #childrensbookillustration #kidlitart #juliachild https://www.instagram.com/p/CC6a2M-H51x/?igshid=hyjaqcgwj9la
there is no greater feeling than getting your first hard copy of a book you illustrated. This is my 6th published book and I still can’t believe this is my job- little 12 year old sarah came up with a dream job and then somehow achieved it- but I feel really lucky to be entrusted with these stories. This book was particularly fun- it’s a story of espionage and of a woman determined. It has an interactive element for kids as well and a codex they can read about in the back! I’ll be sharing some more pictures over the next few months. It’s out March 3rd and available for pre order in my bio! Thank you so much @abramskids and @sarahmarshauthor for trusting me with the story! And thank you to @brightagencyus and @annebrightart 🌸🌸 https://www.instagram.com/p/B5LV0Uznnws/?igshid=er0syqfkql4e

Hello Sarah, Are you related to Eleanor Ansin? She was my second cousin, and I have been working on/am almost finished with the Ansin family tree. If yes, let's be in touch. Nancy Harris Frohlich / my grandmother was Gertrude Ansin (Burg).
Hi there. Eleanor Ansin was my grandmother! That’s wild, assuming we’re talking about the same person. Send me a dm.
