A soft growl rumbled in the back of his throat as his eyes rolled up and over in irritation. He leaned back to get out of reach of Kevin’s hand. “Maybe,” he said lowly. “But, luckily, that’s impossible.”
"Nothing is impossible. Believe me."

There was really no warnings or preceding to this as Kevin suddenly appeared in a fit of giggles and pinched Gabriel's cheek. "Hi, Mr. Sunshine," he gushed before kissing the other, unpinched, cheek.
Gabriel was almost stunned as Kevin pinched his cheek, only to look up. There was a soft smile on the man’s features as his boyfriend kissed him. “Oh…” There was a tilt of Gabriel’s head as he looked emptily at Kevin.
This just had to be another hallucination. There was no possible way Kevin was back.
"You’re not actually here, Kevin."
"Of course I am."
But the voice sounded distant despite how close he was to Gabriel. The closeness only seemed to emphsize how far away, how nonexistant Kevin was. To Kevin, however, he couldn't have been any closer to Gabriel if he tried. And tried he did.
"Where else would I be?" His voice was soft as he relaxed, the laughter fading from his voice as he only smiled and moved to straighten Gabriel's tie.
