There's the stress of costume creation, the fun of conventions... and then those days where you give your dog a bath in the sink. I dunno where I'm going with any of this. I just thought this was an adorable picture.

I'm not shy about - or ashamed of - admitting that I commission some of my costumes. I know what my limits are in terms of time and crafting ability, and I don't think there's any shame in asking for help when I see something that I want to do but can't do myself. At the same time? Things take on a very different vibe because I'm not there to watch the costume come together through every little step. So when I see stuff like this in my inbox? I want to jump up and down, and then cry with happiness. I'm going to be such a pretty Sub-Zero. And it's all thanks to Inge.
I love this version of Menace so much that I've cosplayed her, and after a year of searching? SHE'S FINALLY MINE! I've seen the other Queen's Blade girls in bathing suits as statues at cons, but never my Menace. I had to go onto eBay and hunt her ass down. MSRP is $90 or so, but I snagged her for $40. GO ME!
Good news: I didn't derp.
Bad news: the lighting was pretty meh.
Here's a new wig I just got for an upcoming cosplay. I'd ask you guys to guess what it is, but since I'm going to put it in the hashtags anyways... Marvel Girl. There's a chance I'll be reshooting my 90's Jean with this wig since it's a lot better than the one I used for that shoot, and joehundredaire will probably talk me into Casual Jean or Hipster Jean or something. Hopefully I'll have more pictures soon of costume progress. Or Joe and his friends dragging me outside in my wig just cuz.
Definitely a card that every girl needs in a winning deck...
Finally done unpacking from Katsucon and hanging out with Setra and Tard the Footless Penguin I stole from joehundredaire. Who's probably going to be running this for me because technology and I have a hate-hate relationship going.
I have no idea how to use tumblr, so bear with me XD. My friend will likely be running this for me since I can be computer illiterate.
