Kit likes this bustling, festive atmosphere. He wishes that it could be like this everyday. Kody and Clarissa both dote on their eldest grandchild.

Daphne Sparks. gameplay notes: I read that plantsims are clones of the person who harvests the baby and really didn't want to have a clone, so used Master Controller to randomize genetics with Cerys and Miles. :) So genetically she's their child.

Time continues to flow, and Daphne's first birthday comes. Miles had forgotten about the day, until Nana reminded him. Nana had also called his relatives, so a rather big party takes place at home. Kody, Clarissa, Maya, Kenny and Kayla are all in attendance. Lily and Lavender couldn't make it.

This is you scheduled wake up call for Master Sparks. It is time to wake up. Please wake up, Master Sparks. Ughh, five more minutes Nana, Just, ten more minutes. Negative. My programming indicated that you have to be up by 700, sir. Please wake up, Master Sparks.

Kit steps up and makes it his duty to take care of Eva. He's a little bit too short, so he can't reach past the crib to take care of baby Daphne, but when Nana and Miles are both busy, he can look after Eva and make sure she's doing alright.

Miles recently got fired from his work. Money's not an issue though, since Kody and Clarissa are quite rich and gave Miles a ton of money. He's starting to pull himself together a bit and taking care of the kids again. He tends his garden while chatting with Kit. He fixes up the TV that's been broken for weeks now. He spends most of his time working in the bot lab, but doesn't forget to go to the nursery once in awhile to snuggle the babies and spend time with them. gameplay notes: Miles had a career change into a bot maker. But, per random legacy challenge rules, he won't be making any kinds of profit and will not be selling anything he makes. (So, he's career will still count as a Game Developer)

While tuning Nana up, Miles is struck with an idea. He locks himself up in the office with the bot building machine.

It was Nana who finally confronted Miles. Miles had been in mourning for two months. He had stopped going to work, and stopped doing anything. He spent the days either sleeping or looking at photos of Cerys hung in his room. With a child, a toddler, and a baby in the house, the only reason social services hadn't had a visit was because Nana had been performing her job so admirably. She cooked and cleaned and took care of the kids. It was way past her scheduled maintenance, and perhaps that was how, she snapped at Master Sparks and ordered him to get himself together and visit the nursery, because Daphne and Eva were starting to forget his face.

Eva is too young to realize that her mom is gone now. She does notice that the adults are no longer playing with her as often. She heads over to Kit's room and plays with his toys. Kit understands a bit more about what's going on. He realizes that Aunt Cerys is gone now. Dead, was the word adults were using. No one explained to him what that meant. But it sounded a bit like his dad. Maybe his dad was dead too, because Kit never saw his dad. And now, Eva won't be able to see her mom anymore. Not being able to see Aunt Cerys anymore made him a little sad. He liked Aunt Cerys. But it seemed like Uncle Miles was very very sad. Uncle Miles just stayed in his room most of the time and didn't really talk much. He didn't seem like he was taking showers either. Kit hoped that his uncle will feel better soon.

Then everything crashed on one night. No warning, no signs. Other than the accident, it was just a regular, ordinary night. Cerys had called Miles earlier that day. It was a wednesday, so Cerys had a performance at the Port-A-Party. She called to say that she'll drive right over to Miles' house instead of going to her apartment. She spent more days at the his house than her own these days, so it wasn't uncommon for her to do that. It was a hit and run. The police never found out who it was. The city went in to mourning. People clamored about driving education and laws. The journalists surrounded Miles' house. It only lasted two days though. Then everyone else forgot. They turned their attention to new, rising stars. Some people remembered her songs and maybe her name. They'd remember, briefly, that she had died so tragically young. Then they moved on.
