Hi everyone! My name is Shiloh and I’m opening up my Katsucon 2015 private photoshoot slots.

I’m a photography student at the Maryland Institute College of Art and I’ve been working as a cosplay photographer both at conventions and for private shoots for about 4 years now. I have experience with both big and small groups, as well as low light photography.

My prices start at $30 for a group of up to 3 people, and then it is +$10 for every person after that. I take cash or credit card via square (4% processing fee added) at the convention directly before or after our shoot.

Typically groups get back 5-10 fully edited photos in the end, but this can fluctuate depending on group size and how many poses you end up doing. Smaller groups do get back less photos.  I can help pose you, but it is best to come prepared with several poses in mind. It makes both of our jobs easier and you will be more satisfied with your finished photos if you come prepared and on time.

Please submit the following form to apply for a slot this year!

Hey everyone! I just finished my first book project, UNCONVENTIONAL.

UNCONVENTIONAL is a photo book that explores the similarities and differences between four conventions (Baltimore Comic Con, Baltimore Book Festival, Great Scale Model Train and Railroad Collectors Show, and Anime USA) through documentary photography.

It is 80 pages of full color photographs and spreads including the previews above!

Since this is my first proof of the book and I’m not ready to print on a large scale just quite yet, you can own a high quality pdf copy of the entire book for just $6!

Even if you can’t buy, I’d really appreciate any signal boosting you can offer! Depending on how successful it is here, I’d like to expand it to reach more conventions on a larger scale in the future with hardcover print options!

Delay in Katsucon photos

Sorry for the delay in Katsucon photos. I'm in the final stages of midterms and my computer needs to go in for repairs this weekend. I'm almost done with Friday photos and then I'll get to Saturday.

Once again, so so sorry.

Hey Katsucon friends! I’m one of the lead panelist for the “How to be a Cosplayer Photographer” panels on Friday at 1:15 in Live 7! We’ll be covering the basics and answering questions about posing your model, flattering camera angles, booking shoots at cons, equipment on a budget, and editing tips. Overall we’ll be a pretty chill panel and if you’re interested in cosplay photography or even if you’re just bored as heck we’d love to see you there!
