Time to wash our everyday shoes.
Babies and plants — they both need tender loving care. 🌱
I wouldn't mind if she grows up to be a Daddy's Girl.
A quick photowalk around Granma's Garden before my child wailed for some more milk and nap. 😬
Me as a mom
I drive for him, He buys me ice cream.
While others crave for more,
Some prefer less.
I stayed in this place long enough to consider this view a familiar scene.
Elements
Jinn — she’s like a windy day,
So strong, so rare,
Yet so refreshing , full of energy,
And demands to be felt.
Zinah is like a sunny day,
Everybody needs someone like her,
Warm and bright,
But is easily taken for granted.
I am like a sunset,
Unpredictable,
Sometimes colorful,
And most of the time dull.
Kevin is like the earth,
Stable, firm
and feels like home,
Though un acknowledged, he’s always there.
You may stay for as long as you want.

From friend, to fiancé to husband, this guy’s been giving me the Bible I need. I was a college girl when I read “A Walk to Remember” by Nicholas Sparks. There was a part in the book where Jamie gave Landon a Bible as a Christmas gift. The romantic side of me hoped that someone would give me a Bible and that if a guy gives it to me, I might take it as a sign that “he’s the one”. In December 13 2013, Kevin gave me this Bible and it was the same day he asked my Dad if he could pray for me. You could see from his dedication how he wanted to start the courtship stage — as a friend. It was a nice gesture of his priority. My spirituality and building a friendship. But to be honest, I disregarded that “sign” and thought of it as just a coincidence. Haha Fast forward to 2016, I made a birthday (or Christmas) wishlist and posted it on facebook. One of them is a journaling Bible. He then promised me that he’d give me one when he visits me. I though he was joking but he indeed gave me one. It was a fine Journaling Bible with my name on the cover. Recenly, when I was in Japan, I didn’t bring any of my humongous Bible because 1) They’re heavy. 2) I treat them as fragile things. 3) I knew he has a spare Bible which I can borrow. He ended up giving me the said spare Bible because I asked for it. Hahaha. I rarely ask for things but this happens when you’re married. You say what you need to say. So I told him I want his teeny-tiny Bible because I can carry it around because it’s light. And so, the dedication. What do I want to point out here? 1) If a guy gives you a Bible, he’s a keeper. 2) You’ll know what a person values by the gifts s/he gives. 3) The more intimately you know each other, the more natural your words and expressions will be. (See dedications) 😂 -fin-
