HI! I'm starting in the gym this week and the coach there told me girls only do cardio and wouldn't make me a weights routine. I was wondering if you have any. I've already lost 20lb but now I need to exercise to keep my insulin resistance at bay

We have a complete women’s workout routine plan, you can take 1 or 2 days of it and include into yours.

Last May I did 100 pushups a day for the ENTIRE month. I got KILLER results and I was super happy!

THIS YEAR, I am doing it again except ill be doing 100 push ups a day for TWO MONTHS. April 1st- June 1st!

JOIN ME (for 1 month or 2!) I already roped in 2 coworkers!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO 100 PUSH UPS IN A ROW!!! As long as you get them in throughout the day, you’re good to go! I started out doing sets of 10 on my knees, I gradually upped that number until I was able to do regular pushups. By the end of the month I was banging out 30 regular push ups in a row! Which for me is  A LOT!

Get your before pictures taken, because trust me, you will be blown away by the difference! WE START WEDNESDAY!

Ugh my arms and chest still hurt from doing like 8 sun salutations in yoga on Tuesday so perhaps I should do this too. Though I will also probably start off doing wall pushups. I am unhappy with both the physical strength and appearance of my arms, so perhaps worth it to see if I can do anything about that.

UGHHHHH FINE! I concede. I’m tired of having noodle arms!

I’m so in

Fitblr For Beginners

1. Go slow. Whatever changes you plan on making, focus on one at a time. Overwhelming yourself only leads to more slip ups. More slips ups means you’ll feel more discouraged more often. Discouragement leads to quitting. Do not quit. 2. The best first two changes you can make is a) drink more water and b) go for a walk. Just getting yourself into the habit of those two basic things can go a long way. Walking not an option? Anything else that gets your body moving and heart rate up a little. 3. Make sure you eat enough. Whether your goal is to lose or gain, your diet is important. Eat a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Lean proteins, whole grains, and make room for things like ice cream and pizza. Just because you’re making healthy life choices doesn’t mean restricting the fun parts of food. 4. Find exercise you actually enjoy. If you don’t like running, don’t. If dancing is more your thing, find a class or simply throw on some tunes when cleaning house. Lift weights. Or don’t. Exercise is something you should enjoy doing; not something you make yourself do and hate every minute of. 5. Do not take anyone’s word for it. Not even mine and I’m almost always right! Talk to professionals. Do your own research. Experiment with things to find out what works for you and your body. There’s a lot of misinformation out there so a healthy dose of skepticism can save your life. 6. This is going to take what feels like forever. Give or take. You’re going to have setbacks. You’re going to plateau. You’re going to fuck up a lot. Expect it, get comfortable with the idea. It isn’t a race and you aren’t bad. You live and learn. You got this. Now kick ass.

NSV

One of the ladies at work hollered at me when I was walking back from the bathroom today, and when I went to see what she wanted she was like “What are you, melting away!? You’re looking great!” and honestly, I feel like my body hasn’t changed at allll lately, but the HIIT must be changing my body more than I feel like it is.  What a nice compliment!

Love nice compliments and when people notice my weight loss! Congrats on the NSV!

another 2.2 pounds lost this week. I wish I could say I’m feeling good but PMS has me feeling like an asshole and very anxious.

I’m also procrastinating my homework big time by youtubing acoustic videos on the head and the heart.

I’m really hoping for a good week and for this anxiety to calm down. it’s been bad lately.

anyways, happy sunday, cheers!

I made the weightwatchers Chocolate Chip Cheesecake for my staff meeting tomorrow. It's 7pp for 1/12 of the cheesecake, and my staff won't even know it's a weight watchers recipe! It's my first time making a cheesecake, so I'll let you know how it turned out. I'm also testing Skinny Taste's Kale and Mushroom Lasagna Rolls. I'm planning on making them for a work potluck in May, so I wanted to see how they were before I made them. They're in the oven right now, and I'm going to have one tonight! 6pp per roll!
