Oren’s kind learn a hell of a lot of things as they grow, exist, wander— simply be. One thing he’s learned the hard way? There’s no such thing as ‘docile’ depravity. It bites and it doesn’t stop biting until you’re eaten whole.

Fortunately for him, he can bite right back.

This is the art of self destruction. 

"Wait, Kat—" His hands came up, as if he were about to comfort her. But that would probably anger her more, wouldn’t it? "Swee’heart, fine, that’s fine. Ya don’t gotta see him. Sorry, I should’ve put more consideration into your feelings." He panicked yet again, trying to look for something that might cheer her up, might take her mind off it. 

"Ya like flowers don’t you?"

Did he really think that flowers would help this situation? "For potions and spells, maybe... I guess." her voice was quiet now, trying to process everything that he'd unloaded on her. She wanted nothing more than to die now or at least curl up in a ball where none of this was real, escape to a place where things just weren't as wonky and fucked up... Maybe even Limbo would be better.

"It is not your fault Kat..but I thank you for your kind words." Tsu`tey raised his hand, resting his larger hand over hers briefly as he knew not what she was trying to do. "Perhaps you can come to Pandora, see Ma`Olo..”

Both of her tattoed hands moved to hold his giant hand gently. "I think I'd like that.... What is it like?"

"C’moonn, smile a bit. Y’ur cute when ya smile. I know I’m scary lookin’, but I’m not all that bad once ya get to know me. Ask Vergil and his wives. I ain’t so bad." Releasing his hand, he folds his arms over his chest. "That’s right, ya haven’t seen my little Brother since he’s left had ya? Well, he still rules Hell ‘n all. Even let’s me do some’a my own shit sometimes. It’s pretty awesome. Maybe one of these days when you’re not so cautious I’ll take ya on a trip to Hell."

"Vergil is the king of Hell?" Jesus H. Christ, Dante was going to give her a heart attack before this was all over with. And he's married? BOTH of them were married to MULTIPLE women? Talk about a knife in the heart. "With all due respect, I DON'T want to take a trip to Hell and I DON'T want to see Vergil. I just..." Hands flew to her face now, holding her hands over her eyes and mouth. "I-... I just..." She couldn't even finish that thought. 

Smiling, he takes her hand in his, rubbing his thumb over her knuckles. “I won’t. I got no desire, nor a reason to. You’re part of His memories, and they still stay in this body so whatever feelin’s he had toward ya, I got toward ya too. Ya won’t see the evil side of this Shadow… often. But I got my moments, jus’ stay away when it happens. My meltdowns, I mean.” 

"Lovely name. Pleasure t’ meet ya."

"Yeah..." His thumb over her knuckles made her look down at their joined hand, watching this happen. Did those memories really paint her in a positive light to this... shadow? Or was he lying to gain her trust. If the memories rang true, he'd understand her cynical stance. 

She still didn't trust him.
