feels somewhat relieved when the diversion worked MAGICALLY against sun. usually has to try a little harder but - he didn’t seem like the type to push for an answer someone wasn’t willing to give. appreciates it. can see why blake wouldn’t mind opening to him.
“ that’s a SHAME, you should try it sometime. that’s SUPER cool. wish
i had a tail to hold up my weight. i’d just hang on the ceiling like a BAT
for the rest of my LIFE!!” sighs wistfully, “ that’d be the life.”
“ my HAMMER?? it’s not even THAT heavy!!”
twirls the weapon in question with delicate fingers, little smirk playing on her lips. there’s a challenging glint to her eyes, something that screams DANGER.
“ do you think your tail could HOLD IT?? wanna TRY?? it’ll be
FUN!!”
‘ hell yeah it’s super cool! and super handy! especially when you’re on the run. got a couple guys on your tail? no worries! you can just jump up any lamppost or building and hang off and no one THINKS to look up at it ‘cause they’re too busy thinkin’ you ran away! BAM. you just got away. ‘
sun’s grinning at this point, relaxed and nonchalant and letting go of the fact that his question’s gone unanswered -- either nora’ll tell him later or she won’t, but it’s no sweat off his back. he’s patient, and most of all -- he’s not a prying jerk. his tail’s flicking back and forth behind him, and he looks at nora’s hammer. it doesn’t LOOK heavy -- but weapons can look deceiving. he pauses, thinking, and his gaze goes from the hammer to his tail and back. he can see the challenging look in her eyes, the way she’s grinning a little maniacally, and he PROBABLY shouldn’t .... but --
what the hell!
he’s never one to turn down a challenge! with a grin of his own, sun’s tail begins to sway in wide left-to-right motions before appearing to his left, presenting itself like an outstretched hand with the tip curled upwards.
' you’re ON! hand it over, nora! ‘
