INK BRICK is kicking off its original mini series with Walker, new work by none other than comics legend Matt Madden! Madden has adapted the poetic form of the sestina for this piece, and as always pushes the reader to consider new creative potentials for the comics medium.
8 pages plus essay, quarter letter, b&w interior with a color cover. Debuting at CAB.
INK BRICK is a micro-press and journal dedicated to work that crosses the borders between comics and poetry. The second issue of the journal will debut at CAB for $10, ft. 48 pages of full-color comics poetry by creators like Jesse Reklaw, Alexandra Beguez, and Bishakh Som. Keren Katz has provided a gorgeous portrait of Pina Bausch for the cover.
