Gentle Hands but the Heart of a Fighter

@daramakoza / daramakoza.tumblr.com

When you have nothing you learn how to take everything for granted. Life has been hard for me but I will always be there for my children. My name is Sandara Makoza, I am a mother but most of all I am a fighter. {Indie Roleplay blog for Legend of Korra Oc FC: Bae Suzy Multiship and Mulifandom friendly Mun and muse are over 18}

Dara blushed a bit as she held the box of sweets in her hand. "I thought you might enjoy some sweets."

Lieu smiled, a bit surprised by the gift of the tea shop owner. “Aww, well thank ya so much. These look lovely.”

She took one to taste, offering out of habit to Dara. Truth be told, most would end up with her brother, but there was no reason to tell Dara that.

Dara wore a simple outfit a red dress and a dark brown jacket. Her hair was braided back in a messy style. She smiled a bit as she saw Lieu waiting for her. She smiled as she waved at she spoke “Ready to try some authentic fire nation food?”

Lieu grinned, slipping her book back into her bag. She herself was a green dress, her jacket over it with the sleeves pushed up and sans her vine. “Ready. Lead on Dara.”

She gave a grin as she spoke “Of course, our first stop is to get some hot noodles.” she gave a grin as she walked down the street toward a small noodle stand but it was filled with people. Dara got them a small table and she ordered herself a large bowl of noodles filled with veggies and some chicken. Taking a bite she grinned at the super spicy flavor.

Lieu followed a step behind, and as Dara ordered, she watched the people in the line. Not thinking, she ordered the same dish as Dara, a choice she almost regretted as it was a bit spicier then she was used. Still, she giggled, covering her mouth. “I think my mouth is on fire, but it’s really tasty.”

She grinned a bit as she spoke "It's the spice that makes it taste good." she ordered them some tea to help cool their mouth. Dara sipped on the mint tea as she smiled at Lieu.

"You know you look really pretty tonight Lieu." she said with the small tint of a blush.

She pressed her lips together grinning and she spoke “Of course you can have whatever you want.” she gave a playful smile and she spoke “As a thank you for being my daughters waterbender instructor let me take you out to dinner..we can make it a date.”

Lieu smiled at that, glad the other woman didn’t see it as too much trouble, but at her offer, she bit her lip. Part of her did find the other girl very pretty and interesting, but she was a bit hesitant about dating someone she just met. Still, she should live a little. So she gave a slow nod of her head. “Alright, dinner. We’ll see about it bein’ a date or not.”

She gave a grin and she spoke “I promise it will be fun, meet me here at eight and I will take you to the best fire nation restaurant in town.” Dara was going to show Lieu  a good time it was the least she could do.

"Alright, I can’t wait." She smiled back, tucking a strand of hair back behind her ear. The mention of Fire Nation food made her smile widen, as she had come to love it since moving to the city.

It was a bit early actually, but Lieu didn’t want to leave Dara waiting. Just a few minutes before eight and she had a book in her lap, standing beneath a street light in order to read it.
