"It’ll be worth it later."
He clenched his fists, he let out a soft smile a sigh falling from his lips, “Tell me once more how this ‘war’ is so worth it??”

He shook his head, his eyes burning with a fiery passion, “Turin, you know not of what you are doing! You are to harsh! You immediately throw my people into a war zone!! These are MY people! And you are leading them into a suicide trap! You mean to tell me that this war is good for us!?” His tone was turning sour, he was already jealous enough that Turin was valued above him, this was the last straw.
“Your people are already in a war zone, whether or not they choose to acknowledge it.”
A cold light kindled in Túrin’s eyes - ice to Brandir’s rising fire. As endebted to the healer as he was, and however much respect he had for the man, they had clashed too often for Túrin to ignore the issues between them. Issues that had, of late, begun to wear his patience very thin indeed.
“If we do not fight, then we will die. If we fight, we may, at least, live a little longer - and our deaths will be more than the fruit of fear.”
“My people will be safe if they stay here! You! You are so!!” He let out a harsh growl, turning away from him. His words were on fire, a poison adding to his tone as he began to speak again, “You were taken in here, and yet you constantly chose to deny me, and go against every word I have EVER spoken here!” He was losing this fight, and he was dangerously close to losing his mind over this.
He spun around, a growl on his lips, “But, you know what! Go ahead! You know best, do you not?” He snarled, “You have stolen all I have ever gained here, so go on. Take the lead. none of my own people would listen to me anyways, not over their darling Turin. But before you do this, know, that the instant your arrogance fails, and you see the reality in this, and YOU slaughter MY people, I hope you feel the blood on your hands.”
Brandir! Oh it's good to see you!
“N-Nienor??” His voice broke a bit as he stared at her, his eyes wide, “I… I thought you were.. gone….”
“So did I…” she smiles kindly and politely. “You haven’t changed a bit…”
“I…” He paused briefly, his fingers brushing against her cheek, praying that she was indeed real. “I… Where were you?? What happened??”
Her gaze fell. “I- I don’t remember…”
“A-Are you sure??” He whispered, looking down.
“Yes I– there is nothing I can recall…”
He shook his head, biting his lip, “I..... Alright.. I understand..”
Brandir! Oh it's good to see you!

“It keeps us alive,” Túrin replied, trying very hard to keep any sharp note out of his voice. He understood Brandir’s objections in theory, but the man had as much knowledge of practical warfare and the doings of the wider world as he had of the surface of the moon. He had never been beyond Brethil, never seen what was coming for them. “If we don’t fight, we will only die faster - and far less pleasantly.”
He shook his head, his eyes burning with a fiery passion, “Turin, you know not of what you are doing! You are to harsh! You immediately throw my people into a war zone!! These are MY people!
