Many of you know my love of dogs.... well.... all animals...When I was 11, one of my first creative projects while at school in Dublin ( Mount Anville) was making this stuffed animal. Of course I chose a dog... and for some reason that  I don't quite recall.... I chose a Dachshund I've moved around alot over the years, many different countries.. My beloved stuff animal vanished along the way.  Like... I haven't known where it was for over 40 years. In fact, I hear it has been attended to by a very well known stuffed animal hospital in England. Truth be told they care for all the Royals stuffed animals as well. Anyway, my little stuffed Dachshund has just been returned to me !! The amazing part of the story is that over the past years I've has three Dachshunds of my own ( pictured). They are amazing creatures and companions. They are all hound built into that tiny body. they are greatly disadvantaged by there short legs and long bodies yet you would never know it.
